Applications are now open for preschool age students to participate as peer role models in the Early Childhood Special Education classes for the 2026-27 school year! This is a wonderful opportunity for young learners to attend a high quality, literacy rich preschool program at the same school as their older siblings.
The Reverse Mainstream class is made up of children with special needs and children who are typically developing to participate as the “role models.”
Program hours are 7:40am-10:40am, Monday-Friday
Two classes (3-4 year-olds and 4-5 year-olds). Applications accepted for children with birthdates October 1, 2020 – September 30, 2022
Must be potty trained
Parents must provide transportation

Once applications are received, Ms. Shana or Ms. Brittany will contact you regarding scheduling an appointment for a play date. Playdates will be held mid-April. Notices regarding acceptance into the preschool program at KES will be sent by Friday, May 1st.
