Attendance
If your child is going to miss school for illness or a medical related absence, please:
- Call (804-364-8080) or email the office(schyman@henrico.k12.va.us and ldwood@henrico.k12.va.us) so that the attendance secretary can code the absence correctly.
- Email the teacher to be aware of any instructional impact.
If a child is going to be absent for an extended period of time due to travel, the school must be notified in advance. Historically, this approval process began with an email to Ms. Rhoden. In an effort to streamline this process, we have developed a form to be utilized by any family requesting approval for an extended absence not due to illness.
