KES/PTA Back to School Night | September 13

clip art for Back to SchoolParents and guardians, our KES/PTA Back to School Night will be held on Thursday, September 13th; 6:30-8:00.  Parents will have the opportunity to hear from classroom teachers who will share  details regarding grade level curriculum, class expectations, and more.  This is an adult only event.

Open House | August 30

Meet your 2018-19 teacher on Thursday, August 30!   This is a meet and greet type event in which students meet their new teacher and see their new classroom.  Kindergarten students and families ONLY may attend from 1:00-1:30, and all other KES students and families may drop in from 1:30-3:00.   PTA spirit wear and other information will be available in the cafeteria from 1:30-3:30.

Outdoor Classroom Dedication

We were honored to have many members of the Kaechele family as well as special guests from Henrico County Government and Schools with us to celebrate and officially name our outdoor space, Coyote Courtyard: Where we learn and Grow in honor and memory of David A. New Student Registration for 2018-19

Hello Future Coyotes! 

To enroll a child in Henrico County Public Schools, the child must reside in Henrico County with a parent or court-appointed legal custodian and be 5 years old by Sept. 30.

What parents and guardians need to know:

Where do I register?

Children should be registered at the school they will attend. Not sure? Use our online School Locator tool to find the school for your address:

When do I register?

Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.

What should I bring?

– An official state-issued birth certificate for your child.

– Proof of residency. You will need:

– A picture ID: driver’s license, DMV ID, military ID or other picture ID; AND:

– A current house contract, lease agreement, mortgage statement or tax assessment; AND:

– A current utility bill (dated within the past 30 days).

Will the school require anything else? 

Before the school year starts, you will need to present:

– An up-to-date record of your child’s immunizations.

– A physical exam form signed by a qualified U.S.-licensed health care provider and dated no more than 12 months before the enrollment date. The form can be downloaded at
